Flavin Architects completely remodeled a 1950’s house into a modern marvel of a home.
The kitchen was designed to allow light, and breath taking views of the Cambridge Reservoir to stream in from the great outdoors through it’s floor to ceiling windows.
The goal of their remodel was to bring the 1950’s contemporary vibe back to this home.
The Architects aimed to ensure that the building’s design related beautifully to it’s surroundings, as each home is a custom project that is hand designed for the space in which it resides.
The home was made to blend seamlessly into the nature surrounding it, not only in form, but in function as well. The latest materials and techniques are used to keep energy usage low, and preserve the natural features of the building site.
