Kickstarter is a site that allows smaller product developers to put their ideas out to the general public in hopes of inciting enough interest and pre-production purchases to cover their initial manufacturing costs. With so many new projects on Kickstarter being developed everyday we decided to take a look at the best projects for the home Deco & Bloom style with Home Tech Kickstarter Projects We Really Hope get Funded.
MixStik: The MixStik is a water proofed stick containing LED lights that hooks up to your mobile device to give you a quick, easy to follow recipe for making cocktails. Simply connect your device to the stick (if needed you can connect a single phone or tablet to up to four sticks), select a recipe you would like to make, and the stick will light up in various colors to tell you how much of each ingredient to add.
Obi: This hi-tech pet toy projects a laser onto whatever surface you point it, moving the light automatically (or manually if selected). It can be set by phone app to use a number of different behaviors, and to trigger at a specific time, giving your pet something to play with even when you are away from home. It also has the ability to play a chiming noise before starting, conditioning your pet to associate the noise with play time. It’s a great thing Pavlov didn’t have this isn’t it?
Icebreaker: This device is a replacement for regular ice-cube trays, combining convenience with design. Simply fill the Icebreaker with water, and stick it in the freezer. The Icebreaker is spill and leak proof, so the angle at which it is inserted will not make a difference, and it is only slightly larger than a standard ice cube tray. Once it has frozen twisting the end will dispense ice-cubes from the other side.
Onelid: This pot lid is designed to fit the majority of common household pots and pans. It has a concave top, with grooves on the underside, funneling moisture back into the meal while cooking. This lid is also capable of being used as a strainer once the cooking is complete, draining water off using the grooves in the underside of the lid. The design also allows the handle to stay cool while cooking so that the lid can be removed at any time without the use of a pot holder.
Raincheck: This hand crafted, solid hardwood umbrella stand has a set of 8 LEDs embedded in the front side that reflect the predicted weather for the next 8 hours of the current day. With different display modes to reflect sun, rain, snow, and worse weather, this stand will allow you to know at a glance whether today will require you to carry your umbrella and rain coat.
